9th Forum of Young Geoinformaticians 2015,
to be held at the Technical University in Zvolen on
29. May 2015
The Forum of Young Geoinformaticians is oriented for meeting and presentation of PhD. students research activities in geoinformatics. The level of scientific papers is supported with highly specialized reviewers from the fields of education, science and research. The private sector actively participates at the Forum, what is very helpful in linking of the real requirements of the public with the scientific ambitions of young researchers.
The Technical University in Zvolen organizes the Forum of Young Geoinformaticians since 2005. The organizers are always PhD. students from the Department of Forest Management and Geodesy at Faculty of Forestry. The professional supervisor is prof. Ing. Ján Tuček, CSc.
The main output is reviewed proceeding of papers. Selected papers, based on reviews, are going to be published in GAKO and Cartographic Letters.

Part of the forum will be a seminar on topic: "New forms of education in Geoinformatics" and lecture on topic "How to publish successfully."
Forum of Young Geoinformaticians 2015 programme frame will also include a presentation of 3D Virtual CAVE at Technical University in Zvolen.
