It connects EOSC Nodes, research infrastructures, data and service providers, and research communities into a \u201csystem of systems\u201d that enables researchers to find, access, share, combine and reuse data and tools across borders and disciplines. EOSC also supports the wider transition to Open Science by promoting FAIR data principles, common standards, interoperability, sustainable services and better coordination of European, national and institutional research data initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EOSC Gravity supports this transition by helping the EOSC Partnership and the EOSC Federation move towards a more mature governance, coordination and funding framework beyond 2027. The project mobilises and connects EOSC stakeholders, strengthens cooperation between EOSC-related initiatives, supports the development of EOSC Nodes through open calls, contributes to strategic planning and monitoring, and helps build practical capacity through outreach, engagement and the EOSC Academy. In this way, EOSC Gravity acts as an enabling project. It does not only describe the EOSC vision, but supports concrete actions that help communities, institutions and potential Nodes prepare for participation in the EOSC Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/gis.tuzvo.sk\/retrochange\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/retrochange_eosc_diagram-1024x374.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gis.tuzvo.sk\/retrochange\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/retrochange_eosc_diagram-1024x374.png 1024w, https:\/\/gis.tuzvo.sk\/retrochange\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/retrochange_eosc_diagram-300x110.png 300w, https:\/\/gis.tuzvo.sk\/retrochange\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/retrochange_eosc_diagram-768x280.png 768w, https:\/\/gis.tuzvo.sk\/retrochange\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/retrochange_eosc_diagram.png 1452w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RETROCHANGE contributes to these objectives by preparing practical EOSC SK use cases in forestry, remote sensing and geoinformatics. The project focuses on historical and modern geospatial data, including archival remote sensing imagery, GIS datasets and related analytical workflows for long-term forest and landscape change analysis.
